About
Halloween Safety is an annual volunteer opportunity that occurs in October before Halloween. Red Cross members travel to Maurice Hawk Elementary School to teach the children of the after school EDP program how to stay safe while trick o' treating during Halloween. Working in groups, members create an interactive lesson plan for the children in Maurice Hawk's EDP. Members include posters, puppet shows, songs, skits, arts and crafts, and games in their lesson plans to creatively demonstrate basic Halloween Safety facts.
