Canned Food Drive (Hurricane Sandy)
About
In February 2011, we helped the Crisis Ministry of Princeton and Trenton, an organization which has worked with the community for years by helping people in need achieve stability. The food collected goes to the less fortunate in the greater Mercer County area.
In November 2012, New Jersey was struck especially hard by Hurricane Sandy. We joined a school effort to help the victims of the natural disaster, collecting over 100 non-perishable food items in our club.

Teens for Jeans (DoSomething)
About
Did you know that one out of every three homeless people is under the age of eighteen? Teens for Jeans, a campaign founded and run by dosomething.org and Aeropostale, asked numerous shelters what would help these homeless teens live a normal life. The overwhelming response was simply a pair of blue jeans. The Red Cross Club is supporting their 5th annual jean drive by asking club members to donate new or gently used jeans.
